My feet were worn
The day had been long
My eyes propped open
Not wanting to play along

How that changed
When sitting along the wall
Upon your elegant features
My eyes did fall

Your skin echoing the soft glow
Of the single chandelier
Your spirited eyes sparkling,
And a smile without measure

My heart did skip
It took a pause
My mind left to wander
My mind left to wander

My feet will now float
On their homeward journey
For my eyes were enchanted
By your magical beauty
